Today is National Coffee Day! Hooray! Who doesn’t love a piping hot mug of smooth, creamy coffee? We certainly do! In honor of National Coffee day, we thought we’d bring you a list of some of our favorite local coffee shops in Spokane.
Whether you only have a few minutes to grab a coffee or you have a couple of hours to kill and want to take a book along, Spokane is home to some great Coffee shops. Here are some of our favorite Dine-in Locations as well as some as our favorite Drive-thrus.
Indaba Coffee opened it’s first location in 2009 selling artisan coffee. They have been wildly successful in the area and have since opened 3 other locations. They make most of their syrups in house. Drinks on their menu like the Mandala Chai Latte and the Orange Maple Latte set them apart from other coffee shops.
You can sit down or take your coffee to go. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.
Another great dine-in coffee shop is the Little Garden on NW Blvd across from Audobon park. The little garden has some unique menu options and they make their own Tea. They also offer a lot of tasty baked goods.
At the beginning of COVID, they even offered take-and-bake cinnamon rolls. Their coffee is great and the atmosphere is cozy and calming. The staff is also friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by.
They just opened a new location near Whitworth as well. So if you need to do some studying, head on over.
If you’re on the go and don’t have time to stop in at a coffee shop today, here are some of our favorite Drive-thrus.
The BLVD Coffee Co
The BLVD Coffee Co is a cute little espresso stand on NW Blvd just west of Monroe. Their staff is always friendly and willing to make whatever drink you fancy.
Northside Espresso is a favorite drive-thru coffee shop in the Mead area. They serve an exclusive Thomas Hammer blend of coffee made just for their shop.
White Dog Coffee
White Dog coffee is another drive-thru option with several locations throughout the Spokane area. They were a bit newer to the coffee scene in Spokane a few years ago, but they’ve been pretty popular with their mint green coffee stands and the White Dog on their branding. You can stop by one of their stands on the South Hill, in the Valley, or on NW BLVD.
Don’t ask why so many of these coffee shops are on NW Blvd, I don’t know. But it is a convenient, central location.
So get out there and support some of our favorite local businesses and celebrate national coffee day. Did we miss on of your favorites? Let us know in the comments.
