The North Spokane area is bounded by Mission and Indiana on the South, Francis to the North, and NW Blvd and Market to the West and East. The area encompasses a variety of neighborhoods from Audubon Park/Downriver, Corbin Park, and the Garland district, to University District, Nevada Heights, and Hillyard.
This area of North Spokane is primarily made up of residential neighborhoods. Numerous parks and playgrounds dot the area. In the summer, the Shadle Park Pool provides a great place to cool off. The Garland district located in the midst of North Spokane is a historical landmark featuring the Garland Theater and Mary Lou’s Milk Bottle, a classic 50’s style diner serving delicious ice cream and American food.
