Stevens County is a rural county in NE Washington that spans from Nine Mile Falls to the Canada Border. Stevens County sits between Pend Orielle County to the East and Ferry County and the Columbia River to the West. Chewelah and Colville are the largest towns in the county; Chewelah being home to 49 Degrees North Ski Resort. The community is made up mostly of farms and forestland. The Ski Resort draws tourism to the area in addition to camping and outdoor recreation.
